I am a Doula UK-recognised birth and postnatal doula and qualified maternity nurse, with over 17 years of experience supporting women, babies and families within the NHS and privately.

My journey into doula work grew naturally from many years working within maternity care. While clinical care is incredibly important, I have always believed that families also need time, reassurance, advocacy, continuity and someone beside them who truly listens.

Becoming a doula allowed me to bring those elements together and support families in a much more individual and holistic way. My approach is warm, calm, culturally aware and centred around informed choice. I believe every mother and birthing person deserves to feel heard, respected and supported in making decisions about their own care.

I am particularly passionate about supporting Black families and helping them feel confident navigating maternity services. I offer antenatal preparation, birth support birth planning and advocacy, postnatal and newborn care, infant feeding support, overnight maternity support and practical and emotional guidance during the transition into parenthood.

I support families through many different journeys, including first births, pregnancy after loss, higher-risk pregnancies, caesarean birth, VBAC and complex maternity experiences. Above all, my role is to create a safe, reassuring space where families feel informed, empowered and genuinely cared for.
