Imani Clarke

Supporting people through pregnancy and birth is the greatest privilege of my life. I have been a doula for over five years and in that time I have had the honour of walking alongside countless families through some of the most profound moments of their lives. Every birth is different, every person is different, and I bring that understanding into every single client relationship.

I grew up in Birmingham and I am deeply connected to this community. I know the maternity landscape here and I know the gaps that exist in support for Black birthing people. That knowledge drives everything I do. I am not just here to hold your hand during labour. I am here to make sure you are seen, respected, and heard from your very first appointment to your first weeks at home with your baby.

My approach blends practical preparation with emotional support. Together we will create a birth plan that truly reflects your wishes, work through any fears or anxieties you might have, and build a postnatal plan that sets you up for a strong recovery.

I am a mother of three and I bring the lessons of my own experiences into my work every day. Birmingham families deserve excellent support and I am here to provide it.
