Noon Bilal

I am a birth and postpartum doula specialising in neonatal support, shaped by my lived experience as a NICU mum. My son was born at 30 weeks after I developed preeclampsia, placental abruption, HELLP syndrome and pleural effusion, following a period where my concerns were initially dismissed.

With a background in social justice and advocacy, equity underpins all my work. I sit on the advisory board for Black Baby Loss Awareness Week, am the Strategic Lead for the Equitable Bereavement Care Conference, and volunteer as a peer supporter with APNI for parents experiencing postnatal illness.
