Blessing Mensah

My name says it all really. I truly believe that every birth is a blessing and every person who brings new life into the world deserves to be surrounded by care, dignity, and unwavering support.

I came to doula work after a career in social care where I spent years supporting vulnerable people through difficult transitions. Birth felt like the most natural extension of that work and when I trained as a doula everything clicked into place. This is exactly where I am supposed to be.

I support people across Glasgow and the surrounding areas through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood. I bring a calm, reassuring presence to everything I do and I am particularly skilled at helping people work through anxiety and fear around birth. If you have had a previous traumatic experience or you are simply feeling overwhelmed by the prospect of what lies ahead, I want you to know that those feelings are valid and I am here to help you move through them.

I work with families from all backgrounds and I am deeply committed to inclusive, non-judgmental care. Every family looks different and every birth story is unique and I celebrate that.
