Sara Bakr

Hey you, welcome!

My name is Sara Bakr and I am a full spectrum birth worker/doula. I

created Ancestral Birth out of pure necessity as people need and deserve

better support through all pregnancy outcomes.

I support people during life’s various transitions to help you feel

empowered and heard. I had a calling to do this work so here I am!

In my work as a Doula, I support you both emotionally and physically but

the most important part is helping you find your own voice so that you are

able to care for yourself in the long run. It is important to find that balance

of knowing how to nurture and care for yourself but also knowing when you

need to ask for help.

I see great value in the continuum of care that is why I offer services and

support for pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period as well as loss and

abortion and now most recently fertility support.

In short, I radically support and gently nurture individuals and families

through life transition. My personal mission is to improve sexual and

reproductive health services as I believe in reproductive justice and bodily

autonomy for all and a free Palestine InshAllah.
