Hello I’m Joanne,

I am passionate about supporting women through one of life’s most profound transformations: becoming a mother.

While much of the focus during pregnancy is naturally on the arrival of a baby, I believe it is equally important to nurture the woman preparing to enter motherhood. This transition, known as matrescence, is a time of growth, change and discovery. My role as a doula is to support you not only as you prepare for birth, but as you prepare for the woman you are becoming.

My journey to becoming a doula grew from a lifelong desire to care for and support others. Time and time again, I found myself being the calm presence people turned to during life’s significant moments.

Becoming a doula felt like a natural calling and an opportunity to help women feel informed, empowered and deeply supported during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.

I support families face to face across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and West London, and extend virtual services for those further away.

I offer personalised, compassionate care tailored to your unique needs and preferences. I believe there is no single right way to birth or parent; my role is to help you explore your options, trust your instincts and make decisions that feel right for you and your family.

I am committed to creating a warm, inclusive and respectful space where every woman feels heard, valued and cared for.
